School year 2012: Moving ever closer to the goal of offering services to a total of 320 students, 50 Form 1 (freshman) students began their education in January 2012.
Book Drive: Through 2010 and most of 2011, we collected gently used books of all kinds to fill the library your generous donations helped build. In October 2012 we filled a 40-foot shipping container with books, school supplies and other items that are difficult to come by in the rural areas of the Rift Valley. It arrived at the school on February 24, 2012.

Science Lab/Classroom: At the request of St. Anne’s Girls’ School Board of Governors, we began our next project which was to build and equip a science lab/classroom. The structure is up but more work is needed.

Electricity for the School: Funds were provided to the school to wire the school and bring electricity to the school from the power pole in the center of the village. Since government-provided electricity isn’t reliable, solar power which is cheaper and more reliable will be provided.

Goals for 2012: Funds raised in 2012 will be used to complete the science lab and contribute towards the installation of solar energy for the school
